Natureist Famlily Vides

The first time I met Aldo dates back to 1976. Campobasso
Group 3 had just been founded, and the heads of then (Criscio Enzo, Franco Falcone, Nicholas Fatica), after having started the department, looking for new leaders who gave a hand to the development of the Group.
One afternoon, the meeting was also attended by a gentleman Allotment most of our adult leaders, a man in his forties with glasses rather thick.
He had followed the meeting on the sidelines, but with an attitude is very attentive and curious. We sensed that he had anything to do with Scouting, but we had not investigated further.
After the meeting, the Head of Department Frank Falcone did get into his old Fiat 500 in yellow this gentleman to accompany him back home, and there sprang the usual collegiate level that animated our general meetings.
Ten explorers surrounds the car and began to push in the opposite direction to the run, locked in place, despite the acceleration pedal by the department head.
The story went on for a few minutes, between the laughter of those present and the threats of the CR until the host opened the window and started screaming "UagliĆ¹! Please, I have to go home, waiting for me my wife ... "!
The phrase has no effect, and the dance went on for a few more minutes, until Marcello, who was one of the CSQ, gave the go-ahead and scoured the 500 games.
The next meeting saw a wash head by staff members against the whole department, and on that occasion we met in official Aldo, there was presented as an "old" scout.
When in 1977 we moved to the parish of St. Anthony of Padua, Aldo was now a head of said CB 3, we were brought up and we are going Parish to face a new reality.
He represented a landmark for us young people, and that was how we remembered the curious idea of \u200b\u200borganizing a parish in the pitch behind the volleyball tournament among scout groups, entitling him to none other than ...!
"1 Tournament Aldo Ruggiero" we wrote on the paper submission, and when I came to know told us with much embarrassment that he thanked us, but maybe it was better to avoid these initiatives because they are usually named after dead people ...
In fact we made a gaffe, but in good faith, because for us it was a way of saying thanks for the time that we are dedicated.

Aldo opened, say thus, a new type of head: no longer animated by the chaperone good will and a spirit of adventure, but the Chief thoughtful, devoted to the study of texts BP and their processing methods.
His knowledge of the writings of the founder was very accurate, and its ability to report any situation of everyday life examples of BP was amazing.
The Good deed for the day, which was very important, it represented for him a moral imperative.
care of uniform, with the famous Jewish-style cap embroidered by his wife Margaret with the colors of the scarf group, was a cornerstone of being scouts.
The extraordinary interest in botany, cultivated daily sinanche observing plants and trees he met on his daily route from Via Tiberio Via Principe di Piemonte, constituted a continuing stimulus for us to also improve our knowledge of natural heritage.
I remember when I brought home a card of botany Villa De Capo, with all species listed, I ran to make a copy so I could hear the owner of this great secret.
Another time, however, created its own booklet containing all the key components scout, accompanied by captions that very clear, if I remember correctly, called "A bag of knots."
His spirituality was made of simple things, but at the same time was able to deepen the biblical texts interpreted with great subtlety.

His good humor, which dispensed with both hands with the usual jokes and stories, made him welcome to those who met him for the first time.
His constancy in the commitments and parish associations constituted an example for us everyday.
Rarely I saw angry, and when he had turned red fire, and then recover quickly and try to restore peace and harmony.

In the Community leaders then created a big family, where everyone felt welcomed, and where new leaders also began to flow.
in regional assemblies was held in high esteem and his opinion was always heard with respect, besides earning a reputation as a great connoisseur of association rules, whose interpretation was often delegated to his sharpness.

I remember once, having to organize output Department, gave me the assignment to contact a shipping company to hire a bus.
the day of departure, however, the bus did not show up without any explanation, nor the driver turned out to be reached on the telephone.
I was embarrassed, but Aldo, without losing heart, he organized a few minutes the exit towards Mount Vairano, which we reached with the cars of parents, taking off the chestnuts from the fire.

Over the years his commitment was not less, but the guys at one time had changed and the dialogue became more difficult. And
'This is perhaps the only flaw of his commitment: not to have understood the changing times, the need to set in a different way to those who, having known from Mock or Ranger, now head struggled to find patterns in its methodology.

My chronic communication problems prevented me to explain what I felt inside, the root causes of the malaise of a young man who began to leave the shell of a world scout perhaps too all-encompassing, to look around.

Over the years I have enjoyed by far its commitment to ferry the group in difficult years, until moving in Ferrazzano.

In early November, for the last time I met with William S. Maria di Guglieto, but he was already ill and I went to the machine where dozing exhausted as not to disturb.
The setting sun on the tops of the Matese also seemed to want to say goodbye to an old scout who had often trod its meadows.
When I learned of his death, I felt a moral obligation to write something to remember, because I would like to thank him for the time devoted to young people and for the things you taught me. For the tenacity with which he lived the Scout method and creativity in doing things. For the deep faith that he knew and had to spread around him.

Good Road, Pen Green.

Luca
